1993 Graduated University of Birmingham Medical School with honours in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
1995 Moved to Northern Ireland
1998 Children born ( Twins- Alex and Rebecca)
1998 Became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrician & Gynaecologists
2003 Doctorate at Queens University, Belfast
2004 to 2007 Extended training in cancer surgery and keyhole surgery, Belfast
2007 Fellowship at Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia 
2008 Appointed Consultant at the Belfast Trust
2008 Appointed Local lead doctor in the UK Familial Ovarian Cancer Screening Study  (UKFOSS)
2009 Became Lead doctor for Colposcopy  (abnormal smear) service in the Royal and Belfast City Hospitals
2010 Organiser and main surgeon for the  Belfast Practical Laparoscopic Gynaecological Oncology course – teaching consultants from the rest of the UK how to perform difficult keyhole surgery.
2012 Became a Fellow of the Royal College Of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists . London.
2015 Appointed Local lead doctor for the national study "Refining Ovarian Cancer Test Accuracy Scores" , Nation Institute for Health Research, UK.
2019 Appointed Lead clinician for Gynaecological Oncology in the Belfast Trust.
2019 Appointed Lead clinician for Patient Safety in Gynaecology in the Belfast Trust.
